ABOUT DR. MEGNA, MD
Dr. Megna completed his undergraduate degree at Washington and Lee University while double majoring in Chemistry and Biology. In 1987 Dr. Megna graduated with his medical degree from St. George’s University.
With a focus on preventive medicine, Dr. Megna completed his residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He practiced medicine in Broomfield, CO, before deciding to move to Richland, WA to start his own private practice. Dr. Megna currently practices family medicine and is a strong advocate of “patient centric” care and evidence based medicine. Dr. Megna’s sports background is instrumental in his ability to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries; he has helped many athletes return quickly and safely to their activities.
Dr. Megna is active in the Washington Academy of Family Physicians and served on the Board of Directors from 2003 to 2007, and was Chairman of the Research Committee from 2006 to 2007. Dr. Megna served on the board of directors and as a delegate for the American Medical Association.
