SignatureMD, the country’s leading personalized healthcare service company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative for its Boca Raton office. As part of SignatureMD, we work hard to help hundreds of our clients grow their practices by providing their patients round-the-clock physician access, same-day appointments, and highly personalized, comprehensive care. Our team works hard every day to deliver “White Glove Service” while continuously providing personalized attention.

One of these key services is provided by our Customer Service Team.  There we have Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) which have a primary responsibility to deliver a professional experience for the members of SignatureMD’s concierge medicine service and work closely with the staff of our 200+ physician practices, answering questions, oversee members’ past due accounts and engage prospective new members.

Schedule:

  • Full Time and Part Time
  • Must be flexible to work a shift Monday through Friday, between 8:00am to 8:00pm EST
  • Hybrid work from home schedule after 90 days

Essential characteristics

  • Have a pleasant and friendly demeanor on the phones.
  • Be able to deal with difficult members.
  • Exhibit speed and accuracy in typing.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess customer service experience.
  • Possess medical billing/collections experience, a plus but not required.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by phone to both current and perspective physicians and their patients calling in.
  • Responsible to represent thorough in-depth knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Required to spend majority of the day at a workstation with headset, engaged in work-related activities, including incoming calls, customer call backs, documentation and follow up. Remaining time to be spent as follows: in meetings, in coaching sessions and on authorized break time, including restroom and water breaks, phone calls and any other personal matters.
  • Take 30+ calls a day and document all issues accordingly.
  • Meet length of service requirements to learn additional functions. Complete each new function's certification process successfully. Complete each function's quarterly re-certification process successfully.
  • Through outbound call campaigns, CSRs will call to collect on past due invoices from members.
  • Handle inbound call activity and accurately documents in our CRM system with the outcome of all inbound and outbound interactions.
  • Data entry of enrollment applications.
  • Printing, folding, stuffing and mailing of letters and invoices.
  • Performs general research and problem resolution. Escalates member issues and concerns to management, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of call center or customer service required; healthcare and billing experience is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and telephone etiquette skills are required.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent business experience is required.

Education and experience

Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.
