James E. Long, MD

Dr. James Long is a board certified Internist who has been practicing in Northern Virginia for 17 years. He is also board certified in Obesity Medicine. He completed his residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Internal Medicine in 2000.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has been awarded as a Top Doctor in the Washingtonian, Northern Virginia Magazine, Paychecks, and Castle Connelly listings. He has been on the clinical faculty of the George Washington University School of Medicine and is currently on the clinical faculty of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
Dr. Long has served on the Utilization Management and Quality Assurance Committees for the NorthEast Region of Tricare for the past decade.
