SignatureMD provides a turnkey solution for physicians who desire to convert to a concierge medicine practice and business model. SignatureMD manages the process of converting to this model as well as other long-term business processes, enabling physicians to focus on what they do best: delivering superb healthcare to their patients.
Practice Suitability Analysis
SignatureMD uses a sophisticated proprietary model to analyze the suitability of a practice for conversion to concierge medicine. If the model indicates that a practice is potentially qualified, SignatureMD will survey a sampling of patients and incorporate those results into the predictive model. SignatureMD's predictive model delivers results at a 95% confidence interval.
If the predictive model and survey indicate that a practice is a suitable candidate for conversion to the SignatureMD Concierge Program, we will perform a 16 week conversion process including:
Development of conversion plan, marketing plan, marketing materials, selection of presentation venues, staff training, etc.
A SignatureMD Patient Advocate Liaison (PAL) will be stationed at an affiliated physician's office for 10-14 weeks and will meet one-on-one with patients, educating them on the value of the SignatureMD Concierge Medicine Program.
SignatureMD hosts multiple large-scale off-site presentations of the SignatureMD Concierge Medicine Program for interested patients. In addition, SignatureMD hosts smaller scale patient presentations in your office.
SignatureMD executes outbound telephonic, mail, and email education campaigns to your patients informing them of the value of the SignatureMD Concierge Medicine Program.

Yes, you can still accept health insurance, and in fact we recommend that you continue to do so. Insurance is part of the SignatureMD concierge business model.
As a SignatureMD concierge physician you will neither lose your right to bill Medicare nor will you be in violation of Medicare regulations, so long as you structure your practice correctly. SignatureMD has defined and organized its business practices to comply with Medicare regulations and prevailing legal interpretations. So long as you comply with SignatureMD's policies, you should not be in violation of Medicare regulations and will be able to continue to treat Medicare patients.
Legal interpretation indicates that Medicare accepts concierge medicine "Insofar as the retainer fee under such agreement is truly for non-covered services, such fees would not appear to be in violation of Medicare law…" [HHS] SignatureMD is in full compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (January 1, 2011).
SignatureMD does not bill patients for any covered medical services, and its program is therefore in compliance with the vast majority of private insurers' policies. Should an insurance company question your SignatureMD program, our physician management team will intervene on your behalf.
The success of any practice – standard or concierge, depends largely on a dedicated staff. To ensure a seamless transition, you retain your staff and we train and assist them in delivering the highest level of personalized attention and service. During the conversion process, one of our Patient Advocate Liaisons (PAL's) will be at your office. Our specialized training curriculum ensures a smooth transition for everyone involved. Our PAL's will be available to help you and your staff throughout the lifetime of your SignatureMD concierge practice.
