Dr. Jost graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University Medical School in 1998. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2004. During her fellowship she was the chief editor and contributing author of The Washington Manual: Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Subspecialty Consult. She has also published articles on penicillin allergy and Alzheimer’s disease.
Before entering the field of medicine, she studied biomedical engineering at Northwestern University. During her 7-year career as a biomedical engineer she developed software for cardiology applications and devised computerized epidemiological models for the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Jost has been in private practice for 20 years, practicing both Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. She serves as a Principal Investigator at the Clinical Research Center, a center dedicated to the development of novel medicines in the fields of pulmonology and allergy as well as vaccines. She has volunteered as a proctor for Maryville University’s Nurse Practitioner program, a speaker in Rockwood School District’s Partners in Education, and a short-term medical missionary. She is married and has a grown son and daughter. Her free time is devoted to family. You will also find her hiking with her dog, traveling, and dabbling in the kitchen.
