Internal Medicine
Dr. Talesnick, a native of Brooklyn, New York, received his undergraduate degree from the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy where he was valedictorian of his graduating class. He graduated with honors from New York Medical College and subsequently completed his internal medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Talesnick is a Fellow of the American Cardiology with board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and has received certification in Nuclear Cardiology. He is also a licensed pharmacist. Dr. Talesnick has served as the team internist for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association and currently serves as a cardiology consultant to the team. He has recurrently been recognized as a Washingtonian Top Physician by his peers.
As both a pharmacist and physician, Dr. Talesnick brings a unique set of skills to the practice of Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
