Dr. Bradford Perkins was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He majored in Chemistry at Wake Forest University, and then graduated in 2004 from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and has been Board Certified since 2007. He relocated to his hometown in that year, when he joined San Jose Medical Group in Los Gatos as a family physician and worked there for almost 6 years. He then joined Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Los Gatos in 2013 and again worked as a family physician, seeing all age groups. In 2023, he decided to go into private practice and join SignatureMD.
Dr. Bradford Perkins is a family medicine doctor with a holistic and personalized approach to healthcare, combining the best of traditional and functional medicine. Rather than simply relying on prescription medication, Dr. Bradford Perkins is dedicated to uncovering the root causes of health issues. With a focus on optimizing healthspan and longevity, the practice emphasizes lifestyle changes, nutrition, supplements, and cutting-edge therapies to empower patients to improve their overall well-being. The goal is to help patients achieve optimal health and performance by addressing the key pillars of metabolic health, longevity, and vitality.
Dr. Bradford Perkins is also board-certified obesity medicine physician who also has a comprehensive weight management program that not only includes nutrition and medication options, but also a metabolic repair program to get to the root cause one’s weight struggles.
Dr. Perkins has also launched a Wellness Suite at his office that features some of the latest technology – Emsella and the Emsculpt Neo. Emsella was released in 2017, and uses high intensity electromagnetic energy (HIFEM+) to produce supramaximal contractions of the pelvic floor muscles to help:
- weak pelvic floor muscles
- urinary leakage
- urinary urgency
- urinary frequency
The Emsculpt Neo was released in 2021 and combines the same HIFEM+ energy to help build muscle in the abdomen, upper arms, thighs, and buttocks, as well radio frequency heating to burn fat. The benefits of the Emsculpt Neo include:
- improved core strength
- may help improve low back pain
- improved strength in arms or legs
- body sculpting of the legs, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs
