With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Brian McBreen approaches medicine holistically, with a person’s overall health at the center, treating patients at all stages of their lives. A diagnostician at heart, Dr. McBreen chose primary care given his love for the practice of medicine and his commitment to total body health.
The son of Irish immigrants, and a first-generation college student, Dr. McBreen studied at Fordham University and Georgetown University School of Medicine. Following his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, he spent four years in their community practice network.
For the last twenty years, Dr. McBreen has run his own private practice, caring for patients in the D.C. area. He views the doctor-patient relationship as a true partnership, working together to both address symptoms and the root cause of patients’ health challenges. Dr. McBreen has been named a top doctor by Washingtonian Magazine and Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine.
Dr. McBreen is a husband, father, history buff, sports fan, and five-time Ironman triathlete.
