Dr. Danny Farah’s journey in medicine started at UCLA, where he earned his biology degree in 1994. He stayed on at the UCLA School of Medicine where he was able to earn his medical degree in 1998. During this time, he earned many awards including the UCLA Alumni scholarship as well as the Josiah Brown Award for Excellence in Research in 1995. It was during his medical school clerkship where he met Dr. Malamed and Dr. Grossman who were residents at UCLA. He stayed in Los Angeles to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in 2001. He was awarded the Max Factor Nephrology fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center which he completed in 2003. He started in private practice in Encino. He also was the medical director of US Renal Care Dialysis. His professional interests include prevention and wellness, geriatric medicine, hypertension management, cardiovascular risk reduction, weight management, and fitness.
