Dr. Delene Musielak moved to St. Louis to be closer to family after she and her husband were blessed with beautiful triplets. Three seems to be her special number because she is also triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Musielak earned her Bachelor of Science at Stony Brook University in New York and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She then completed her four year combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency training at the University of Missouri – Columbia. She cares for the whole gamut. Or, as she says, “From the cradle to the grave.” From newborn care, extended wellness preventative clinic visits, acute or chronic problems or end of life care home visits; she treats all ages.

In addition to her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics & Obesity Medicine training, Dr. Musielak has done extensive training in Functional Medicine as well. Dr. Musielak became interested in functional and integrative medicine due to her frustration with the current medical system not always addressing the root cause of disease processes. She established ALEA Health and Wellness with the passion to provide care that integrates traditional medicine with metabolic and functional medicine in order to approach each patient individually in a wholistic manner: mind, body and spirit. Dr. Musielak’s vision is to provide personalized care to help patients live a healthy and balanced life; but meeting them where they are in their health journey. Dr. Musielak is passionate about preventative medicine and believes that a great physician-patient relationship is truly based on open communication.

Dr. Musielak has not only made her mark in her local community, but is also involved on a national level in making changes that impact medical care. She is the Associate Program Director of the residency program at St. Luke’s Hospital, educating the residents. She is also involved with the American Academy of Pediatrics and The Obesity Medicine Association.

She has been featured in multiple media outlets including The CW, ABC and KSDK News. She has also been able to share her expertise with multiple publications in Parents Magazine, Forbes Health, Thrive Global, Delux Magazine, STL Parent and West NewsMagazine. Dr. Musielak also received the title of the 2021 Mrs. Missouri – Woman of Achievement.

Dr. Musielak does not stop there though. She has persevered and continues to challenge herself to be a better leader and physician. Dr. Musielak is a super mom of triplets, wife, an international best-selling author, and international wellness speaker. She has even started her own podcast, The Dr. Mom Show, where she is known as Dr. Dee – Mom of Three, to serve as a medical informational resource and a place that parents can find answers to everyday questions.

Dr. Musielak’s passion and priority outside of medicine is her family and involvement in church. She enjoys every moment with her husband and triplets, especially traveling, tasting new foods, and playing sports with her kids (who usually win).
