Gregg G. Marella, M.D. is a cum laude graduate of University of Scranton, where he earned a BS in biology with minors in English and Philosophy. He received his medical degree from Penn State University Milton S. Hershey College of Medicine. He completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at Morristown Medical Center and served as chief resident of the Internal Medicine Program as well as section head of Internal Medicine for several years.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has a special interest in sports medicine. For more than a decade, he was the team physician for the New Jersey Nets and the New York Red Bulls. He is currently Director of Medical Education at Care One Nursing Facility, Whippany and Medical Director of Holly Manor Nursing Home in Mendham.
Dr. Marella is the father of two boys and two girls and enjoys spending his free time coaching his sons and being told what to do by his wife and daughters.
Alyssa C. Youngman
MSN, APRN, AGBCNP-BC
Alyssa C. Youngman, MSN, APRN, AGBCNP-BC, graduated from The University of Scranton in 2011 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish language. She worked at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit for 2.5 years and obtained a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) credential. She moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 2014 and started working as a registered nurse in the Surgical and Medical Intensive Care Unit at Morristown Medical Center. She worked in the ICU for 5 years.
In 2018 Alyssa graduated from William Paterson University of New Jersey with her Master’s of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She passed the certification exam to obtain her license as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC). Before coming to Mendham Medical, she worked as a visiting nurse practitioner providing in-home visits to patients living in Central and Northern New Jersey.
Alyssa lives in Chester, NJ, with her husband, son, two dogs, and has a baby girl due in April 2020. She enjoys chasing after her 18 month-old son, reading, and going for walks down Main Street in Chester.
