Dr. Nichols has been board certified in Family Medicine since 2001. Moving to sunny Arizona after residency, Dr. Nichols worked for ten years in emergency medicine at Tempe St. Luke’s Emergency Department and Wickenburg Regional Hospital. In 2007 he purchased Ahwatukee Family Medical Center and began caring for patients as a Family Physician. During this time, he proudly served as a Major in the US Air Force Reserve for ten years.
Dr. Nichols enjoys tennis, mountain biking, coffee and spending time with his wife of 35 years, Amy, and their family. As a San Francisco native, he can often be seen sporting Warriors gear! He tries to live each day by treating his staff and patients the way he would want someone to treat his family.
