Dr. Schwieger was raised in Switzerland, where he attended Medical School at the University of Lausanne. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in the Bronx, followed by a chief residency at Metropolitan Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Schwieger has an additional specialization in Nephrology for which he trained at UCLA. Dr. Schwieger subsequently worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center where he was Director of the Nephrology Division and Co-Chief of the Kidney Transplant Program as well as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Schwieger has been practicing in Tarzana for over 20 years. He specializes in the management of complex medical conditions and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
