John D. Williams, MD has practiced medicine in Stillwater, OK, for over 30 years.

Dr. John D. Williams received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in 1975. He went on to receive his Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, graduating in 1980. After finishing his medical degree, Dr. John D. Williams completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Oklahoma University, Tulsa Medical College in 1987.

Dr. John D. Williams is a Stillwater native. His strong ties to the community of Stillwater led him to open his internal medicine practice in his hometown in 1987 through today. He is the owner of Associates of Medicine.

His commitment to his community has also motivated him to serve at the Stillwater Medical Center as the Chief of Medicine in 1997. He has also served as Stillwater Medical Center’s Past Chair of Infectious Disease and Past Chair of Utilization Control Facilities Committee and he is still an active staff member at the center. He is passionate and focused on delivering exceptional patient care, as demonstrated by his extensive medical research involving hypertension, diabetes, insomnia, osteoporosis, gastrointestinal conditions, cardiac dysrhythmia, and migraine headaches.

John D. Williams has served as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and is a member of the American Medical Association and the Oklahoma State Medical Association. While completing his residency he was honored to receive the Deans Award for Internal Medicine Research at the University of Oklahoma in 1986.
