Kenneth A. Merkatz, MD, FACC is a board-certified cardiologist and a diplomat of the certification board nuclear Cardiology with more than 30 years of experience in non-invasive cardiology, clinical leadership, and patient-centered care. He has been recognized as a Connecticut Magazine Top Doctor for multiple consecutive years and currently serves as a cardiologist with Starling Physicians, where he has held leadership roles in nuclear cardiology, pacemaker management, and practice innovation. Dr. Merkatz is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, he is known for building lasting patient relationships and delivering compassionate, evidence-based cardiovascular care.
