Dr. Keri Peterson obtained her bachelor degree from Cornell University and received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Peterson specializes in Internal Medicine which focuses on preventing, diagnosing and treating adult health concerns. She strives to keep people healthy through an emphasis on preventive medicine, longevity and management of medical illnesses. With a demonstrated commitment to the advancement of medicine, Dr. Peterson has several publications in leading medical and scientific journals and has presented at distinguished medical symposiums. She was a medical advisor for the healthcare websites Verywell.com and Healthination.com for many years.

Dr. Peterson has been a medical contributor and columnist for Women’s Health Magazine for 15 years. A frequent media spokesperson, she has been a regular guest on The Today Show and has appeared on several programs including Good Morning America, Dr. Oz, The Rachael Ray Show, Katie Couric Show, The Meredith Viera Show, HLN, America’s Newsroom, America’s News HQ, CNN American Morning and Nancy Grace.

Dr. Peterson resides in New York City with her husband and son. She is passionate about golfing, reading and cooking.
