Dr. H is a gem! I found his practice after searching for a pulmonolgist who could help navigate my recently renewed asthma. I had not dealt with asthma symptoms since I was a teenager. I'm 43 and symptoms returned seemingly out of nowhere. I'm a marathon runner, a run coach and a running guide and I had no idea what was happening to me when 2 weeks after I completed a marathon I could not run one mile. It felt like I forgot how to breathe. I called Dr. Horovitzs' office and his front desk was and continues to be kind and patient. I had no idea what I needed and Flora helped me. That's very hard to find and it was so appreciated. My two visits were thorough and thoughtful. The information that I communicated to explain my symptoms was taken into serious account. A plan for long term care was put in place given my lifestyle. I'm back to getting PR's and finished a 20 mile this morning feeling like myself- not like myself with asthma. I can not recommend Dr. H enough.

Dr. H is truly the best doctor. He has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. Every visit, regardless of the issue, begins sitting in his office discussing all the aspects of your life that may contribute to health concerns (i.e. life, work...). Dr. H does every exam, test, xray, EKG, blood draw, etc.... himself. No PA's..... He takes his time... He calls you and follows up with you and maintains concern and arranges for other doctor visits if consulting doctors are necessary. He is truly dedicated to all his patients' health and wellness......

Dr H is THE BEST. He has been my primary doctor for nearly 15 years since I moved to NYC and I have referred him to many friends. He is always available for questions with sensible advice, is very respectful of patient's time and is always on schedule. He will never rush you and is very thorough and has an excellent referral network.
