With over 15 years of experience in preventive medicine, metabolic health, midlife women’s care, medical nutrition, and aesthetic medicine, Dr. Mara Pulcheri is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician and Founder of Pulcheri Medical Practice PLLC in New York City. She approaches each patient as a whole person, providing comprehensive, coordinated care across
their health needs.

From an early age, Dr. Pulcheri demonstrated a strong aptitude in the sciences, earning a Biotechnology degree while still in high school, followed by university studies in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on genetics. During her biomedical studies, she became increasingly interested in direct patient care, realizing she wanted to work closely with individuals rather than remain in laboratory-based research. This growing passion led her to pursue a medical degree in Brazil, entering a highly competitive and selective medical training system.

After medical school, Dr. Pulcheri completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency atNew York Medical College. Following residency, she joined a well-established clinic in New York City, where she practiced for several years before pursuing the opportunity that would eventually lead her to establish her own independent practice. She holds multistate and international medical licensure and has completed advanced certifications in medical nutrition, obesity medicine, menopause care, and aesthetic medicine.

Dr. Pulcheri has mentored international physicians preparing for U.S. medical training, helping them gain experience with patient-centered care and the U.S. healthcare system. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and conversational Spanish. She brings a thoughtful, patient-focused approach to supporting individuals at all stages of life.
