Dr. Vidwans was accepted into the highly selective Inteflex Premedical-Medical program at the University of Michigan and graduated with his medical degree in 1998. He then completed his internal medicine residency in San Diego before moving to Northern Virginia to join a large multi-specialty practice. In 2016, he transitioned to a new private practice in Arlington, Virginia as a Physician Partner.
Dr. Vidwans is an expert in chronic disease management but also believes strongly in preventative medicine to help patients lead happier and healthier lives. This includes discussing exercise, nutrition, mental health, sleep, and weight control as priorities for optimizing wellness. He feels a physician should be an attentive listener and an excellent communicator to create a strong physician-patient partnership, the foundation of great health care. Dr. Vidwans has been named a Top Doctor in both the Washingtonian and Washington Consumer’s Checkbook in Northern Virginia.
