Dr. Stover has 25 years of experience practicing as a Family Medicine physician.
A native of Phoenix Arizona, she has spent the last 15 years in Tucson, managing patients with acute and chronic diseases, and has established strong working relationships with her patients and their specialists.
Her interests center on working with highly motivated patients of all ages, to help them achieve wellness, longevity and overall satisfaction with their health. She believes the doctor patient relationship works best as a team partnership, and so strives to understand her patients’ families, lifestyles, and the communities in which they live. She encourages her patients to use lifestyle modifications to achieve their health goals.
Dr. Stover is a graduate of the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. She completed her residency training in Family Practice in Austin Texas, then worked in a small hospital outside of Austin as a clinician, hospitalist and in the hospital Emergency Department. She assisted the surgeons in the hospital with major surgeries on her patients.
Dr. Stover also spent four years in Australia leading a government project with mothers and babies as a certified lactation consultant.
Her experience also includes practicing in the West Indies as an Emergency care provider and studying infectious diseases and tropical medicine in Brazil.
Dr. Stover and her husband have 3 college-aged children.
She swims on a master’s swim team, enjoys learning languages, traveling, scuba diving, and sailing.
She and her medical team are highly motivated to provide quality, evidence based medical care to you and your family.
