Scott Mercer, MD is committed to each and everyone of his members.
Dr. Scott Mercer graduated with high honors from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Chemistry. He received his M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Mercer completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of California San Diego University Hospital.
Dr. Mercer is on staff at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. He has served as the Chairman, Department of Family Practice as well as the Medical Director of Scripps Clinic Medical Group, and is currently a Medical Executive Board Member. Dr. Mercer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Mercer is married with two children and enjoys beach volleyball, surfing and hiking.
