Family Medicine
Dr. Shaun Kretzschmar did his undergraduate work at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He went on to graduate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. Dr. Kretzschmar completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine and is a Board-Certified Family Practitioner.
Dr. Kretzschmar began his practice in 1997, Aledo Family Medicine, and continues to serve Aledo and surrounding communities. He also serves as one of the team physicians for the 10-time State Champion Aledo Bearcat Football team.
Dr. Kretzschmar believes in serving his community, not only as a practicing physician, but also as a citizen. He is involved in many community endeavors. In addition to his community service, Dr. Kretzschmar also serves as an Associate Professor at his Medical School Alma Mater.
Dr. Kretzschmar enjoys outdoor hobbies including swimming, scuba diving, hunting, and fishing. He spends his spare time with his wife Ashley and their twins, as well as their pets, Charlie a lab, and cat Sassie.
