Dr. Vijaya Cherukuri, MD, is a dedicated primary care physician with a special focus on geriatric care and women’s health. With a wealth of experience, she is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. As the Medical Director of Premier Health Care Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dr. Cherukuri serves the South Pasadena community with compassion and expertise.

Her impressive academic background includes a medical degree from Andhra University in India and a residency at Long Island College Hospital in New York. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, she is a distinguished member of the American Medical Association and the American Geriatrics Society. Beyond her medical expertise, Dr. Cherukuri holds an MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Miami. This unique combination of medical and business knowledge allows her to provide comprehensive care and effectively manage her practice.

A cornerstone of the St. Petersburg community for over 25 years, Dr. Cherukuri is deeply committed to her patients. She provides inpatient care at all South Pinellas County hospitals and is fluent in English, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Cherukuri enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children, who are proud graduates of the University of Florida.
