Dr. McAtee was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He graduated cum laude from St. Louis University 1986. From there he went on to study Botany and German at the Goethe Institute of Vienna and the University of Vienna where he graduated in 1988. Dr. McAtee returned to St. Louis University Medical School and completed his medical degree in 1992. He completed his residency at the St. Louis University Hospital.
Dr. McAtee is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, and has been in private practice for over 20 years.
