I earned my medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with board certifications in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. My areas of expertise are in Women’s Health and Bioidentical Hormone Therapy. I’m particularly drawn to treating Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Menopausal Syndrome, Thyroid and Adrenal Disorders, Insulin Resistance, as well as Male Hypogonadism. I pride myself on being able to engage my patients by truly listening to their concerns and not dismissing them as being “psychological”.

What is your philosophical belief about the practice of medicine?
First and foremost, I am a proponent of preventive medicine and screening. I prefer to find conditions early before they cause symptoms or injury and when we can still do something about them. However, even once a patient has a condition, I also believe in working toward eliminating it. I love being able to take patients off of medications and I always work to have patients on the minimal amount when they are necessary. I do not believe in throwing a medication at each symptom, but rather addressing and hopefully eliminating the underlying cause of the symptom.
