I was exposed to healthcare from a very young age and always knew that medicine was my professional calling. I took pride in the dedication my father, a prominent internist in the DC for over 40 years, put towards his patients and it became quite clear that better outcomes occur the better you know your patients and the more time that you can provide for them.

Ideally the primary care physician operates as the quarterback of the healthcare team, diagnosing and treating disease as the first opportunity for care, then helping to coordinate care when specialists are required. My medical training at University of Maryland provided a strong foundation of knowledge and exposure to complex medical conditions, followed by a more outpatient tailored primary care internal medicine residency track at University of Vermont.

I have been working in private practice in the DC area since 2015. I strive to empower patients to live their healthiest self through a combination of education, preventive strategies, evidence-based medicine, and tailored treatment plans. I am honored to have been chosen by my peers as a Washingtonian Top Doctor annually since 2020.
