Clair Palley, MD
Family Medicine
- University of Kentucky College of Medicine
- Deakin University
- Monash University
Dr. Clair Palley was born and bred in the land down under – Australia. She graduated as a registered nurse with a Bachelor in Nursing from Monash University, then she was recruited to work as a nurse in the United States, where she met her (now) husband who convinced her to stay in the United States. After several years of working as an RN, and much soul searching, she decided to pursue a degree in medicine, and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine with distinction, then stayed at the University of Kentucky for a residency in Family Medicine. After graduating residency, she has worked in primary care in the Lexington area, taking care of patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly and everyone in between. As a board certified family doctor, she has loved developing relationships with all of her patients, some of whom she has cared for for over 16 years. She enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, including working with all age groups, helping to improve quality of life through the management of both acute and chronic conditions, and guiding people with preventative care. She has a focus on nutrition (which utilizes her Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition) and lifestyle changes. She is excited about her new venture into a more personalized medicine practice, where she will continue working with Dr. Eric Bradburn, with whom she has worked with for the past 14 years.
