George Bell, MD
Internal Medicine
Dr. George Bell attended U of I Medical School on a Navy scholarship. While in the Navy, Dr. Bell served with distinction as a Battalion Surgeon in the Marine Corps. On active duty, he received a commendation for earthquake relief efforts in Panama, as well as serving on the front lines of Operation Desert Storm, attached to an infantry battalion—after which he was awarded the Kuwaiti Service Medal. After finishing his active military service, Dr. Bell completed his training in Internal Medicine at the West LA VA-UCLA Medical program, where he received both Intern of the Year and Resident of the Year awards. Moving to Idaho in 1996, Dr. Bell practiced in his own clinic. Returning to North Idaho, Dr. Bell is excited to continue to do what he loves, in the place he loves—beautiful North Idaho.
