Dr. Jameelah Gater-Richardson earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor in 2000. She completed her family medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta, and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson under Dr. Andrew Weil, a bona fide legend in the field.
Dr. Gater-Richardson has received many honors and recognitions for her medical care over the years. While in medical school, she was honored with the Thomas C. Davies Family Practice award. She was also recognized as Resident of the Year by the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians for her commitment to the field.
Dr. Gater-Richardson received her board certification in family medicine from the American Board of Family Medicine.
