Internal Medicine
Dr. Joe Vassallo attended Columbia University as an undergraduate. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Buffalo. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his cardiology training at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his Cardiology Fellowship, he received specialized training in the area of arrhythmias (electrophysiology).
Dr. Vassallo has repeatedly been recognized as a top Washington doctor by his peers and his patients. He believes each patient has a unique story and health concerns. He looks forward to using his many years of experience to work with his patients individually in a compassionate, engaging and productive manner.
