Dr. Muhammad J Anwar MD, MHA., is a board-certified internal medicine physician and American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) diplomate, with advanced training in longevity focused primary care, hormone optimization, and comprehensive weight management. He brings a white-glove, high-touch concierge approach to medicine, delivering personalized, proactive care designed to optimize healthspan, vitality, and long-term performance.
Most recently, Dr. Anwar served as a Concierge Physician for New York City Football Club (NYCFC), providing individualized medical care to elite professional athletes with an emphasis on metabolic health, recovery, and peak performance. He also served as the Inaugural Medical Director of Student Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he led the development and expansion of student health services and held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine.
Dr. Anwar completed his internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center and practiced primary care within the Montefiore Medical Group. He earned his medical degree from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College and pursued graduate training in healthcare administration at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
He is A4M-certified and has specialized expertise in hormone replacement therapy, metabolic optimization, and body composition–driven weight loss, including GLP-1–based therapies.
