Family Medicine
Dr. John Michael Spine graduated from Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then graduated from medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. While pursuing a career in surgery at Central Medical Center in Pittsburgh, a change of mind and heart resulted in a move to Colorado Springs, completing residency and subsequent board certification in Family Medicine. In February of 2002, Dr. Spine was the first and only physician to practice in Erie, Colorado, and opened Tri-County Medical Center, which is the oldest established medical practice in Erie. Dr. Spine resides in Boulder County, CO, and is an avid gardener and home cook, enjoys golfing, hunting, and traveling. And he remains a diehard Steelers fan.
