Internal Medicine
Dr. Thaker completed her undergraduate degree at Purdue University in 1994 and worked as a registered pharmacist prior to attending The Chicago Medical School. After graduating with a medical degree in 2000, she completed her internal medicine residency at Lutheran General Hospital. She worked for five years at Northshore University Health System and then moved to Maryland where she has been in private practice in Bethesda for the past nine years.
In 2019, she was recognized by Bethesda magazine as a Top Doctor.
Dr. Thaker is compassionate and enjoys getting to know her patients individually. She is astute, intuitive, and honest as she guides patients toward their health goals.
