Dr. Lerner, Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease, has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” for the past 25 years by Washingtonian magazine. His areas of expertise include disease management, complex medical conditions, acute and urgent care, pulmonary diseases and chronic cough with a special interest in asthma. Dr. Lerner has privileges at Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital.
Dr. Lerner is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University Medical School as well as Assistant Clinical Professor at Georgetown University Medical School. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Lerner is a member of the Jacobi Medical Society and the American Thoracic Society.
