Robert B. Burns, MD is committed to each and everyone of his members.
Dr. Robert Burns graduated from Hendrix College with a BA in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical Services in Little Rock. Dr. Burns completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He went on to be the VA staff physician at the VA Hospital in Montgomery, AL. Dr. Burns then completed his residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Dr. Burns served as a staff and ER physician in Jonesboro, AR for 14 years after finishing his residency. In 2003, Dr. Burns started a private practice in internal medicine in Pascagoula, MS. Dr. Burns is a member of the Mississippi Medical Association. He is accredited by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Burns is married with two sons. He enjoys walking, bicycling, fishing, playing guitar, and reading.
