Dr. Eddie Richardson is a native of Echols County, Georgia. After earning his bachelor of science in chemistry from Valdosta State University, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in the Gulf War, was meritoriously promoted twice, and earned the prestigious Achievement Medal for his outstanding service.
Upon returning to civilian life, Dr. Richardson earned his master of science in biochemistry from Clark Atlanta University and his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1999. He completed his family medicine residency training at the Columbus Medical Center and furthered his medical training by completing a fellowship in geriatric and palliative medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
He is a founder and primary care physician at several area medical practices, including Lake Oconee Concierge Medicine, Lake Oconee Urgent & Primary Care Center, and AXIS Occupational Health.
